Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, a next-generation massively multiplayer role-playing game (MMORPG), is currently in development for the Windows platform by Sigil Games Online Inc.

A massively multiplayer online RPG powered by a heavily modified Unreal engine and produced by former team members of the Everquest franchise. Facing the challenges of a war-torn world, the diverse people here struggle to rebuild their once great civilizations. Characters will not only own buildings and vehicles, but they will also whisper into the ears of kings, manipulate the hand of justice, and change the direction of history. They will make their mark on a world we initially create but they ultimately shape and form. February 06, 2007 - In late October of 2005, four days after turning 47, Keith Parkinson lost a 16-month battle against leukemia, and the game development community lost one of its great artistic talents. Born in California, he found his calling at a young age; while still in high school, he began to paint landscapes populated by terrifying fantasy creatures. During a five-year stint at TSR during the 1980s, he created book and magazine covers, calendars, game boxes, modules et al for titles such as Forgotten Realms and Dragonlance.
